Grace, named after Hollywood icon Grace Kelly, brings together the beauty of heritage architecture with a spacious floorplan and classic design elements. The event venue, which opened earlier this winter, is located in a historical building in Toronto’s old stockyards district just north of the Junction’s west-end neighbourhood. Bathed in light from multiple windows and clerestory skylights, there’s a soft elegance to the space’s exposed brick-and-beam structural bones and lofty industrial ceiling.
The 2,400-sq.-ft. venue offers two distinct function areas each featuring expansive statement walls as design or branding backdrops. There’s also dimmable lighting and an in-house sound system. Grace’s Room, the main space, accommodates up to 150 reception-style. The Tasting Lounge is more intimate. Use as an extension to the larger room or for breakout meetings, private dinners or a VIP lounge. The room comes furnished with a custom millwork cabinet and wet bar, lounge chairs and a live-edge wood boardroom table seating 12. Toben Food by Design exclusively oversees the venue’s catering from its on-site 6,500-sq.-ft. kitchen commissary.
