Introduce recess into the workday with a team field trip to Pursuit OCR, Toronto’s first indoor obstacle course training centre. The new 10,000-sq.-ft. fitness-based playground in the Queen West hood is team-building perfect, fusing inclusive fun and competition for all physical capabilities. Winding over and under itself, the course equals the approximate distance of two football fields with 19 challenges including ball crawls and foam pits, rope swings, monkey bars, climbing wall, hurdle deck and more. Staggered starts let eight teams of two tackle the course simultaneously while the rest of the crew cheers from the observation deck.
Program corporate colours into the custom LED system that powers the Chinese lanterns overhanging the graffiti-accented course. Large screens bookend the structure for visual projections. A cardio station and two training areas offer additional activity zones complete with aerial ropes and curved running walls. A spacious reception area rounds out the open-concept industrial space which converts nicely into a funky special events venue. Total capacity: 200
