As many event planners know, sometimes sourcing a great bag to showcase the goods can be trickier than getting your hands on the swag itself. We’ve rounded up some local options and creative alternatives in and around the city.
Luv2Pak
20 Tangiers Rd., Toronto
Luv2Pak is the place to go for everything packaging-related. Their in-house experts make sorting through their extensive selection a cinch if you don’t have time to browse, and they have designs to work with any theme or occasion. Getting creative is easy with their amazing range of top-selling paper, poly and food-grade bags. For something a little different, check out the window tins.
Creative Bag
1100 Lodestar Rd. Unit 1, Toronto
975 Pacific Gate, Units 1-5, Mississauga
1064 Salk Rd. Units 15 & 16, Pickering
Hit up Creative Bag for all your swag bag needs, including reusable totes and metal tin containers. Customization is front and centre here – for a few pennies more per bag, you can personalize your bag with an image, logo or message to expand brand awareness.
Retail Bag Co.
430 Adelaide St. W., Toronto
Conveniently located downtown, Retail Bag Co. is another favourite for gift bags and boxes and eco-friendly options. They carry a full range of traditional swag bags from paper to poly and more, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Especially cute and creative are the paint cans and Parisian takeout boxes.
171 East Liberty St. Unit 137, Toronto
Another great downtown spot for reusable and custom totes is Stitchy Lizard. They specialize in embroidery and digitizing and everything is created in-house. Screen printing is available as well, and they have a large selection of promotional items besides gift bags. Plus, if they don’t have the item you’re looking for, they’ll source it for you.
Do you know another great spot for swag bags? Let me know! @debgee
