You have to be doing something right to land on Canadian Business and PROFIT’s annual PROFIT 500 list of the country’s fastest-growing companies two years running. Based on five-year revenue growth of 482%, Toronto-based Quest Audio Visual recently touched down at number 142 in the 2016 ranking. “We don’t sit still when it comes to advancing production design and audio-visual technology,” says company sales manager Kevin Terry. “Today’s clients and audiences are very tech savvy, continually raising the bar on engagement through interactive, immersive experiences.”
To that end, Quest stays on the cutting edge with the latest a/v and computer equipment. Trending now are mixed reality (augmented and virtual) technologies and 2D and 3D projection mapping. Specialists in indoor and outdoor LED walls, Quest uses 20-inch panels like “Lego pieces” to custom create projection surfaces such as the staging backdrop to Arbonne International’s recent training conference (pictured) in Niagara, ON. New to the firm’s technology toolbox is 360° virtual set design software for better conceptualizing the look and set up of a room. A move to expanded warehouse space adjacent the company’s current head office will include a nifty demonstration area for clients.
