When Only Bezel-less Will Do
Anyone who knows what a bezel is, will instantly appreciate the Advanced Products Group's new infinite plasma panel, a first in Canada according to the company. A bezel (for us bezel-clueless) is the perimeter area around a screen. The less bezel—as in the miniscule 5 mm separating the infinite plasma panel's image from the edge of the unit—the greater the possibilities are of joining the panels together for a virtually seamless large-screen image format.

Use the 42-in. high definition panel alone to create a cool “floating image,” or marry together multiple panels to build a massive image wall in any number of different configurations and sizes. Can be wall mounted, suspended from ceiling or free-standing.

A Chip Off The Auction Block
You can't get more real McCoy for a gala and silent auction than hosting it within the very fine and versatile space (or hiring the pro auctioneers) of Waddington's, one of Canada's oldest auction firms. The prestigious auction house at Bathurst and Adelaide recently extended use of its spacious 45,000 sq. ft. facility to the special event industry. With its loft-like art gallery layout, white-washed walls, prime display areas and high security, Waddington's offers planners the great bones of three highly functional rooms.

The Auction Room, with windows overlooking Bathurst, moveable walls, stage and presentation a-v, is ideal for groups of up to 300. Super-size the space by overflowing into the adjacent Preview Room, which has a reception or meeting capacity for up to 150. Both rooms can call upon the Lobby for additional lounge space, registration or intimate receptions (Capacity: 30).

Spa Party Adds Services
Today, finding work-life balance tops the wish-list of many, including corporate Canada concerned about the health and wellness of hard-working employees. In answer to the search for the holy balance grail, Spa Party recently launched a new corporate health and wellness program to round out its mobile massage and aesthetic services.

The program provides customized group sessions that include presentations by nutrition and health experts, life-balance coaches and instructional stretching, yoga and fitness classes. Pair an educational or physical session with a spa offering for an on-site office “wellness break,” or include in a retreat or conference agenda. This spring sees the launch of a New York office for Spa Party.
