Icy goodness at the ICE Lounge.

Check out these great venues:

ICE Lounge at C Lounge
Put your next event on ice, ice baby — all 200,00 lbs of it from which the slick -5C environs of the new ICE Lounge is sculpted. Bathed in cool blues and pinks, and designed for maximum frosty impact—from ice walls and chairs, to ice bar and glasses-this novel destination-a North American first — lands your event at the top of must-attend lists.

White parkas and cozy gloves keep guests warm while making the ice scene, which has a 100-person capacity. Connected to the popular C Lounge, planners also have the “warm” space option with room for up to 800.

A partnership between coolsters at Liberty Entertainment Group and Iceculture Inc., the ICE Lounge is open seven days a week for private bookings with a melting date of March 2006.

The front area of the Gladstone Hotel's Ballroom.

The Gladstone Hotel
Lovingly restored, this historical Parkdalian beauty is looking grand in its spruced up Victorian finery and feeling oh so eclectic as “the” place for art, creative types and local folks. All beautiful arching windows, soaring ceilings and hardwood floors, the shiny new space still proudly exudes hints of its set in reality grittiness.

On the main floor, the Ballroom offers a versatile event venue for up to 200 people, while across the lobby, the Melody Bar—complete with karaoke fixings—holds 100, with a walk-through to the narrow, exposed brick Art Bar for 28 people. Take the old hand-operated elevator to the fabulous artist-inspired guest rooms beginning on the second floor. Here a multi-use foyer and hallway with walk out to balcony make great blank canvases for events for up to 200 people and art exhibits.
